Long-Term Structures of Care in India

This project examines how  NGOs, governments, and families respond to a growing crisis of care: who looks after people with intellectual disabilities as their parental caregivers age? We conduct interviews, focus groups, and ethnography across Indian states (especially Maharashtra, Kerala, and Telangana) to document how people think about and construct the future through care-relations.
